Hello & Welcome to the Getting Started Guide!

This is a quickstart tutorial on how to get started with your Hits2u business. It will enable traffic to start flowing to website. Please read this carefully and try to follow the recommendations. This is currently one of the best & cheapest ways to market Hits2u , GVO or any other business you are involved!

You can apply this method to all your marketing campaigns if you so desire! More experienced Internet Marketers may already have their own methods and techniques to promote their url, and that is absolutely fine! Do what ever your comfortable doing! This guide is mainly geared to the Internet Marketing Newby who doesn’t have quite enough knowledge to get started! With the help of this guide, you should be able to hit the ground running!

The hardest thing you have to do, to start your career, is promote your website link!

Internet marketing is not a mystery, there are no “secret” formulas, and you do NOT need to be a guru. Success on the Internet comes down to two things ….

1: Advertising and 2: Helping your downline to succeed (Duplication).

These two things are fundamental to your online success!

Traffic Exchanges will provide us with the Traffic to Advertise our website.

Now before we get into the nitty gritty, you must make sure that you have undertaken some basic steps to avoid yourself lots of unecessary mail which may find it’s way into your inbox!

Do not use your proper email address when you sign up to any traffic exchanges! Part of the deal is that you must confirm emails from the exchanges and receive members emails for signing up. That’s ok, it’s not too bad, but I am sure that you would want your primary email address clean from excess emails!

Solution? Join Yahoo.com or Inbox.com and apply for one of their free email services. I have been using my Yahoo email address for some years now and it is much better than hotmail in many ways! You get much more space for starters and you will be able to receive nearly all emails which you need to confirm your membership to the traffic exchanges. Tip: (Try using an inbox.com email account with all your spam filters turned off.. Recently I have noticed that Yahoo email is blocking many of my confirmation emails from coming through. Plus, with Inbox.com, you don’t get bombarded with advertisments like you do on Yahoo email.)

I have tested many exchanges and I have prepared a short list of the best performing traffic exchanges. All these exchanges are free to join although you can pay to get traffic credits. The only downside to the exchanges, is that you have to surf yourself to view other peoples websites.

The one most demanded service on the internet is website advertising. The traffic exchanges provide that service. But we will be using the Hits2u I duplication system to actively target those who are actively seeking that advertising. These persons will be the most interested in joining Hits2u and eventually GDI when they see how easy it will be to implement the Hits2u-GDI system into their existing marketing campaigns! Many Internet marketers actually drop their existing systems soley to focus on GDI when they see how lucrative the Hits2u-GDI opportunity can be!

There’s one management tool that you should use with the Traffic Exchanges. This tool is a site rotator. A site rotator essentially is a website which allows you to enter more than one url link within it. The Site rotator website will give you a special url link which you can use to enter into your traffic exchanges. This will save you hours of time when you want to change or alter your url’s within the traffic exchanges.

Submit your HITS2U or GVO Referral Link within the Rotator URL. This will end up being displayed on the traffic exchanges for other surfers to see.

When setting up your Traffic Exchange Information, list your site rotator url as the website that you want to promote. When visitors access your traffic exchange URL, your rotator automatically transports them to one of the web pages you’ve chosen to advertise.

When the time comes that you want to change the website(s) that you’re promoting, all you have to do is login to one place online and make one change that will affect all your advertising across your entire traffic exchange network.

A Good & Free rotator can be found here: PageSwirl.com. This rotator while Free, does NOT have any pop-ups in a frame, banner ads, or navigational frames! This is important for when you are submitting to the traffic exchanges. Nearly all the traffic exchanges that allow a page rotator, specifically ask you to use Pageswirl. It is the most widely accepted and approved rotator.

Now, that should keep you busy for a while! There are many other traffic exchanges, but these are probably the best known & best performing exchanges. They are in no particular order. Just make sure that you join all of them! With most of them, you will get free credits upon joining!

There is one other type of traffic exchange which you can use as an option and this is a “pro” exchange. CLICK HERE to be taken to 123Clicks.com. You can now sign up for free! Another new but Novel way to promote your Hits2u and GVO site is by using your own screensaver! If you want to find out more you can HERE! It’s free as usual to sign up!

You can if you wish also try ProTrafficShop. It is also a Pro exchange, but it is a paid membership traffic exchange.
Make sure that every exchange you join has the “Manual Surf” option. Do not bother with autosurfing exchanges as nobody actually bothers to see your ads!

This is very important. Always Check that you have assigned your credits to your Hits2u and GVO referral site! And Keep checking the exchanges every now & then to make sure that your site has enough hits assigned to it! Failure to do so will mean your site will not be viewed by the other surfers! You should also take advantage of the tracking feature which is available from within your Hits2u member site. Just log in for the details!

You really start to appreciate how cheap the GDI opportunity is when you consider the cost of other programs! Do this only if you can afford to do so. Don’t spend any more money than you have to. You are better off purchasing credits from your traffic exchanges if you want to save yourself the time surfing. The Hits2u duplication system has been the best performing system that I have used to sign up new GDI members under me. Period!

Next step:

I have been using AM Browser Formally Crazy Browser and I was amazed at how well it worked. This browser is fantastic if you plan to really drive some serious traffic. I recommend AM Browser for two reasons: one, it has a tabbed interface; and two, it’s completely free.

Alternatively, Firefox is just as good a browser, and you can get plenty of great addons for it as well. These days though, I prefer Firefox, as it is less prone to virus attacks while your surfing on the web. Please make sure that you have a good and always updated antivirus software with a good firewall to protect you at all times.

Now let’s start to put all this together.

1: We have Signed up & activated our yahoo or inbox email account.

2: We have registered with Pageswirl to promote our sites in rotation. (For this purpose we will only have our Hits2u and GVO referral link within our Rotator URL).

3: We have registered with each traffic exchange and confirmed the memberships through our yahoo email account.

4: We should all try at this point to familiarize ourselves with each traffic exchange and how they operate.

5: Within each traffic exchange, we need to add a site URL to promote. Enter your pageswirl rotator URL in the link box that Pageswirl has provided you.

6: Write down all your membership details in a notepad text file for each exchange.

A very handy program to use is Roboform. Purchase this if you can. This program will be your best friend. It stores & remembers all your passwords and logins for all your web pages that require you to login. It is very reasonable in price and will save you countless headaches and head scratching when your trying to remember your logins & passwords while trying to log in & surf!

Many of the traffic exchanges have a specific Surfing URL, others may require you to login and select a surfing option. We will by now have created a notepad file with all our login information for each of the traffic exchange Url’s.

We now open up our AM Browzer and load each surf url into it. A new tabbed page will open up and so on as you copy & paste from your notepad file. All of these exchanges have timers & anti-cheat mechanisms which force the user to wait for the predetermined time before they can continue to the next site. We will open all the links of the exchanges and tab through each one while clicking the required surfing buttons (hitting the F2 or F3 Key will allow you TAB quickly – Ctrl-Tab in Firefox). This will allow you to quickly increase your overall hits over a wider traffic exchange network of targeted surfers.

Many of these exchanges require you to surf a minimum number of sites before your account becomes activated. You must maintain at least 1 hour to 2 hours a day clicking through to earn credits. The more you surf, the more views will be allocated to your site! Many sites will also give you free credits when you sign up.. (Free Advertising!)

You can export your URL list with AM Browzer so that next time you surf, you can quickly call up all your sites! Roboform will quickly log you in if a certain exchange requires you to do so first! Roboform will remember those tricky auto-assigned passwords or login id’s that will give you a hard time when your loging in! The free version only allows you 10 sites. Alternatively, your Firefox browser is quite good at also remembering your log in passwords. You can also easily save your surfing url’s from within a new Firefox favourites directory. You just right click on the folder and select to “open all url’s in tabs.”

Now you do have the option to pay for your traffic if you want to. That will immediately get your site displayed much more often and for much longer without the need for you to surf. (I paid for the good performers only), but we will try to avoid paying as much as possible! You can experiment yourself as your budget allows.

A good tip, is to separate the traffic exchanges into two lots. Surf each lot on alternating days. That way you increase your overall exposure to more different people. Your not wasting your hard earned credit by showing the same surfers the same link many times. I renamed my 2 AMBroswer url lists, “odd” & “even”. Surf the odd url list on the odd days and vice-versa.

Keep an eye out for other exchanges and join them where you can. You can only benefit by increasing your exposure to other interested targeted surfers who stick to their own traffic exchanges. This is also important.. To maximise your traffic exchange advantage, refer others to sign up under your own personal traffic exchange referral link.

Another method !

I call it the “spam the spammers method”. This method is also a great way to increase your downline, You should always be on the lookout for a site will allow it’s members to directly mail your email. Such a  site is “Trafficwave”. It is an FFA (Free For All) site.

Do not sign up yet till you have read these instructions first.

Now the trick here is to create another Yahoo email address. Then  through “addressguard” from within your yahoo email account. Create another email just for Trafficwave). Now you must go back into your yahoo options and create a “Holiday Response” reply email. I wrote something like this:

Wait for the confirmation email from Trafficwave. As soon as you receive your confirmation email, go back into your options and then activate your holiday response. We have now created a basic autoresponder with our yahoo email addresses which will autoreply to those persons who are sending you email!

Now you can reply & confirm your email back to Trafficwave. You will receive almost instantly hundreds of emails which will flood your inbox. Don’t worry, each email you receive will get an automatic reply from you like the one that I used above! This is a great way to promote your Hits2u link. As you get more comfortable with the idea, you can duplicate the process with other addon emails. Just go in & clear your emails every now & then.

Go on the Hunt!

If you are receiving spam mails with the sender providing you with their name & email, then I would also reply to them with the same reply as above! This works a treat! Remember to use your Yahoo or similar “working” free email to respond to them. Don’t just delete those spam emails! Put them to work for you!

Using Safelists, Forums & Classified Ad Sites

If you want to advertise to internet marketers, then one of the best places to pursue are Safelists & or Classified Ad sites. After all, these sites are filled with future Hits2u and GVO members! Offering advertisers Free advertising is the trick to building up your Hits2u and GVO downline. I have tested quite a few sites, but the one site which has stood out above the rest for me is Business World List. Another great site is FreeAdDepot. I have had great results using both sites. A new advertising site which has recently come online is MyFreeSafelist. I joined it because of the great new approach the site is using to display your ads. It’s also Free to join up & use. I am getting great results with this new site. I highly recommend it!

Advertising in Classified Ad sites is also a must, and I have received a great response from 1StopClassifieds. These sites are all free to join & use with paid pro options if you so desire. 1StopClassifieds, also allows you to view other members emails, which would allow you to respond to their ads with your free advertising offer!

There are many internet marketing forums on the net where you could easily promote your Hits2u and GVO link. You can also try these forums, as I have had quite a few sign ups by submitting my hits2u ad within them. Some of the better known ones are the “Free Advertising Blog“, and the Free Advertising Forum.

You may have been aware of many Ad Blasters available to you on the internet. I have compiled a small list here for you to try. Please be aware that many of these sites are questionable in their promises of “sending out to millions”. When you have acquired the knowledge, and become more comfortable with promoting your business on the web, you can then move to the next level of internet marketing. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I will direct you to some of the best sites where you will find all you need to know about how to set things up.

Leads

Let’s start with the first & perhaps the most fundamental requirement of internet marketing. Leads can be obtained in either of 2 ways. You can collect them yourself, or you can purchase them. Perhaps in your next phase of marketing online, purchasing your leads would be the way to go. That is until you become more adept at writing your own Ad Copy, and have a greater understanding of Auto-Responders.

Auto-Responder

To collect your very own leads, you will need the services of an Auto-Responder. Auto-Responders basically collect information from a web form with your leads details, such as, name, email, address, etc. The autoresponder will then follow up with your lead until they join, purchase something from you or opt out of your mailing. This is why I mentioned your Ad Copy skills earlier. The “unwritten law” suggests that you need at least 7 contacts with your lead before they will trust you enough to make a purchase, or sign up under you. GVO has one of the better Auto-Responder sites on the web today. You can sign up for $1, as usual, and then access all their great training material. You can get  all the information from HERE.

GVO has great training material / including video tutorials to show you how to set everything up. This will help you fast track your online marketing in a huge way! I  Highly recommend it for your own online marketing education! If anything, I recommend you even just sign up for the training material.

Website

You will also need your own website to set the whole process up, and the most simplest, and most cost effective company to offer you a one-stop-shop, is GVO. Well we already have that as part of our arsenal, so why not start to design & present your own website to the world! It truly is an exciting feeling to have your very own website up on the web! You can use the GVO tools to get things going! . Having your own website up & running, opens up a whole new world for you! I am amazed at how easy it is to set everything up!
